Bloggy Giveaways Quarterly Carnival Button

Its time once again for the Bloggy Giveaway Carnival.

I'm totally excited about having you here, and would like to announce that I will be giving away 5 Grab Bags of Ribbon. there should be 10+ yards of assorted ribbon in each bag. I will try to get a nice ribbony picture up later. Wanted to go ahead and let you sign up before I found the camera.

Rules to enter: Post a reply, that's it!
Winners will be chosen by my kids, so the more kid friendly, the more likely they are to pick you. I will print out the posts and read them outloud to the little ones ages 6-10.

I hope that you enjoy!

My 11 year-old daughter wants to design trendy, but modest clothes for girls when she grows up. For the time being, she has spent hours creating looks for her American Girl dolls, knitting skirts for her Barbies, and creating outfits out of leftover scraps and fabric we have around the house. Any piece of ribbon that comes into our home, in some way ends up in her collection, and she finds some creative way to use it.

I would love to be enter your giveaway for my daughter.

I have two little girls (5 and almost 3) that just love ribbons. They have me put them in their hair (or sometime mine if I let them 'make mommy hair pretty'), they love string beads for bracelets and necklaces for themselves or their babies (Hoppo the Hippo and Pinky and Sunny the pancake bears), they also 'decorate' their doll houses with them. Sometime they also usethem to dress up their princess and barbie dolls. Ribbons are very well used in our house.

My 4 year old's favorite joke:

Knock Knock
Who's there?
Monsters.
Monsters who?
Monsters scary.

Then she laughs and laughs and laughs.

what can I say, she made it up herself.

Would love the ribbon!!! Here are some jokes for ya:

Why was Cinderella kicked off the football team?
Because she kept running away from the ball!

Which is faster: Cold or Hot?
Hot, anybody can catch a Cold!

What kind of jam don't you want on toast?
TRAFFIC jam!

There is a couple that had twins, a boy and a girl. The children's uncle named them. What are their names?
The girl's name is Deniece and the boy's name is Denephew!

What does a glove say when a person is teasing it?
"Are you putting me on?"

What has a tongue, but no mouth?
A shoe!

The seller doesn't want it. The buyer doesn't use it; and the user can't see it. What is it?
A coffin!

I have 3 kids - a 4 1/2 year old girl, a 2 1/2 year old boy, and a cute little 3 week old baby boy! I've always wanted a lot of ribbons. I'd make some neat hair things for my daughter, and then make some "taggie" toys for my boys! Of course, with that much ribbon, I could probably come up with a lot of other things, too! Maybe enough for fairy wands and princess tutus, even!

I love ribbon and have been buying a ton of it lately for making my daughter hairbows. My daughter is 2 1/2 and loves to chase our pug dog around the house. He's such a great dog and is so patient with her. She loves to take him in the bathroom with her and he'll sit in the bathtub while she pretends to wash him. He lets her pull on his wrinkles and tug his curly tail and one time while I went downstairs to grab a glass of water, I came back up to find him covered in baby powder! He was just laying there half asleep while she was covering him in it! Needless to say, we had to give him a real bath afterwords.

My little girl and I would love to win the ribbons. She still loves this joke:

Where do fish keep their money?

In the river bank. :)

Okay, kids listen up, if you pick my post you won't have to clean your room for a month...Just kidding. I barely have any power over my own kids let alone someone elses.

But seriously if you knew how ribbon poor I am, you would take pity on me and pick my post.

My poor children are utterly ribbonless and sad. You can change all that!
